Compared to similar plans from competitors such as Fizz, Lucky Mobile (Bell), Chatr (Rogers) and Public Mobile, this $15/2GB plan after autopay is the best offer right now. Fizz’s 2GB plan costs $18, while Lucky and Chatr only offer 500MB of data with their $15 plan. Public Mobile has axed its 4G plans which were cheaper than the current $25 starting price for its 5G plans.
The use case for a $15/month wireless plan? If you don’t use any data or need it for a backup phone, that’s an already price to pay for wireless access on a Big 3 network. Or if you need a super basic phone plan for your kid just to call and text and use light data.
