Virgin Plus Raises Prices $1 to Match Fido and Koodo — Here We Go Again
We hate to say it, but we told you so. After Fido raised prices yesterday to match Koodo, we said Virgin Plus would follow suit, as expected.
Fast forward one day later, and Virgin Plus has done just that. The Bell-owned flanker brand has increased prices on Wednesday by $1 to now match pricing from its rivals.
Here are the Virgin Plus plans after bring your own device and autopay discounts, as of April 29, 2026:
- $40/20GB (was $39)
- $45/60GB (was $44)
- $50/60GB (was $49) Canada-US-Mexico
Fido
- $40/20GB
- $45/60GB
- $50/60GB Canada-US-Mexico
Koodo
- $40/20GB
- $45/60GB
- $50/60GB Canada-US-Mexico
- $55/100GB
The only difference right now is Koodo offers a $55/100GB plan.
Don’t you love seeing flanker brands of the Big 3 match each other time and time again? We are still waiting for Virgin, Fido and Koodo to include international roaming in its plans to match Freedom Mobile. But it seems like they’ll hold out as long as they can to gain more wireless revenue from roaming data, which is one of their biggest moneymakers.
