Following a successful first year, Video Game Live Expo (VGLX) is returning October 24th to 25th for a weekend-long event at the International Centre in Mississauga, Ontario.

The organizers are promising a bigger, more jam-packed event this year filled with playable game demos, esports competitions and more. The event floor will be full of exhibitors, cosplayers and creators touring around.

One of the biggest new additions coming to VGLX 2026 is the Electric Clash tournament, the official Challenger Event for the Tekken World Tour 2026. The tournament features international competitors from around the world, including South Korea and the United Kingdom.

VGLX 2026 is also partnering with OverActive Media to showcase Toronto KOI. This offers the very first look at their upcoming 2026 – 2027 roster reveal and a sneak peek at their new jersey during the event. “The introduction of Toronto KOI’s Call of Duty roster and the unveiling of our 2027 jersey mark an important moment for OverActive Media and our fans,” said Neil Duffy, Chief Commercial Officer at OverActive Media, in a press release.

Dead by Daylight developer Behaviour Interactive is set to bring “some of gaming’s most recognizable horror experiences to the VGLX show floor.” Fans will be able to demo Dead by Daylight, 7 Days to Die, and Darkest Dungeon at the event.

Other notable activities and activations include a Tekken 8 tournament organized by Incendium Gaming. The curated XP Gaming Indie Zone will spotlight new games from indie creators. Artist Alley, meet-and-greets, and TCG swaps are also present.

Tickets for VGLX are available now. A single-day ticket for Saturday is $20, while Sunday tickets are $25. A weekend pass, however, is available for $35. You can find more information on VGLX’s website.

Meanwhile, XP Game Summit, the organizer’s B2B conference, is being held next week. The two-day event runs from May 21st to May 22nd, offering attendees the opportunity to sit in on expert sessions, showcase their latest indie projects, and network with one another.
