Tesla has reached 3,000 Supercharger stalls in Canada, marking the milestone with a maple-leaf design at a new Quebec site opening ahead of Thanksgiving road trips.
Tesla’s charging team announced the milestone on September 28, saying its new 24-stall Supercharger site at Montée Ryan in Mont-Tremblant, Quebec, includes the company’s 3,000th Canadian stall, reports Tesla North. The milestone charger features a special illuminated maple leaf design celebrating Canada.
The site opened ahead of Thanksgiving on October 12, 2026, as drivers prepare for the holiday weekend.
Tesla charging executive Max de Zegher said the network has changed significantly since he drove a Model S P85 through remote parts of Canada in 2015 while scouting potential Supercharger locations.
“Range anxiety was real, and I sometimes turned the heat off in winter just to make it to the next charger,” de Zegher wrote. “Night and day now.”

He said routes that once had no charging options now have three or more Superchargers between destinations, giving drivers more choices on longer trips.
Tesla completed its Trans-Canada Supercharger route in 2019 and continued adding locations along major corridors and secondary routes.
“A charging company would have stopped at Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver,” de Zegher wrote. He said Tesla kept expanding the network so drivers could get home more confidently during the holidays. “Canada is beautiful and vast, and we’re far from done electrifying it, powered by local hydro,” he said.
The Mont-Tremblant location adds 24 stalls to Tesla’s Canadian charging network, with the 3,000th stall now operating in Quebec ahead of Thanksgiving weekend.
