iPhone Duo Is Now Available in Canada, If You Can Actually Find One

Launch day is finally here for Apple’s first foldable iPhone. The iPhone Duo arrives today, one week after pre-orders opened on October 16, with first-wave customers getting deliveries and Apple Stores across the country selling the device for the first time.
Apple announced early Friday morning, just after midnight PT, that the iPhone Duo had made its debut at Apple Store locations worldwide. The company said customers filled its stores as team members offered hands-on demos and personalized shopping support, and it shared photos of a crowd lining up outside Apple Jing’an in Shanghai.

If you didn’t get a pre-order in, walking into a store this morning is probably your best shot. Apple has confirmed limited iPhone Duo walk-in stock at Canadian Apple Stores and expects it to sell out quickly. Online orders on Apple.ca have been showing February 2027 delivery dates, and Apple has capped purchases at two per customer.
You can buy the iPhone Duo in store, online or through the Apple Store app, in Star White or Night Sky, with storage from 256GB to 2TB. Unlocked Apple Canada pricing starts at $2,999 before taxes, making it the most expensive iPhone Apple has ever sold here.

- 512GB: $3,299
- 1TB: $3,899

Apple is offering financing from $124.96 per month over 24 months, subject to approval, plus Trade In credit on eligible devices. Rogers, Bell, Telus and Freedom Mobile also carry the Duo, and our iPhone Duo carrier pricing comparison breaks down what each one charges per month. To catch restocks, here’s how to track iPhone Duo stock and get alerts.
For anyone who does land one in store, Apple Specialists can move data over from an old phone through Personal Setup. Apple is also adding new Today at Apple sessions, including “Say Hello to iPhone Duo” and “Tips: What’s New in iOS 27 on iPhone.”
On the hardware side, the Duo pairs a 7.6-inch folding inner display with a 5.4-inch outer screen, the A20 Pro chip and a 48MP dual-camera system. It’s eSIM-only and uses Touch ID instead of Face ID. Early verdicts in our iPhone Duo review roundup praised the nearly hidden crease but knocked the 254-gram weight, while one robot hinge test found no noticeable wear after 32,640 folds.

Apple’s new App Store collections for the Duo also go live today, and Netflix, Slack and others are among the iPhone Duo optimized apps ready at launch.
Did your iPhone Duo arrive today, or are you heading to an Apple Store to try your luck?
