Apple TV Gains “Apple Events” Channel To Watch the WWDC 2014 Keynote

The highly anticipated moment is just a few hours away: Apple will kick start its Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) at 10:00 a.m. PDT, and, as promised, will also live stream the event on the Apple TV (via MacStories).

As you can see from the above image, the company has made the Apple Events channel available on the device. But if you don’t have an Apple TV, you can live-stream the keynote from Apple’s website; all you need is Safari 4 or later on OS X 10.6 or later, or on your iOS device running iOS 4.2 or later. Live streaming via Apple TV requires a second- or third-generation device running iOS 5.0.2 or later.

Apple will unveil iOS 8 and OS X 10.10 during this year’s keynote and probably new hardware. In other words, free-up your schedule between 10 a.m. and noon today.
