Continuing the recent trend with Bell and Telus, Virgin Mobile has now dropped the price of the iPhone 4 to $99.99.
The new low price, down from $159, is available on a 3-year term or the Virgin Mobile Tab. Bell’s website has also been updated with the price drop, as we exclusively reported yesterday:
At this time, only the 16GB iPhone 4 has received the price drop with the 32GB iPhone 4 still available for $269. (I’ve always wondered if these price changes are insider knowledge or the carriers simply acting on rumors.)
Next up is Rogers and Fido!

I’d call them and complain about the price you just paid. What have you go to lose? Â Nothing but the time it takes to make the call. Â Tell them you want to talk to the Retention or Loyalty department if they won’t give you a rebate. Â Just threaten to leave. Â That usually makes them take notice. Â Good luck.

Don’t even bother calling the call centre. Â I’m with Telus and spoke to an agent this morning and he refused to give me the 99$ price. So I then went to the store where I purchased the phone and they adjusted my price to 99$. Hope your company does the same for you.

I noticed on Telus’ site they have a 6GB data addon for $30… is that everywhere currently? It’s not listed as a promo, and it doesn’t seem to be limited to any particular kind of phone.
