Telus Offers $45/25G BYOD Plan to Win Back Former Customers

The latest Telus ‘winback’ offer is in the form of a $45/25GB plan, joining similar offers we’ve seen from Rogers, Fido and Bell.

The targeted ‘winback’ offer is a special plan aimed at luring back former customers. In this case, this $45/25GB bring your own device (BYOD) plan look to be a response to customers that have joined Freedom or Shaw Mobile.

The plan includes unlimited Canada-wide talk and text and other usual extras. The $40 activation fee is waived and some on RFD have noted it also comes with 1,000 international long distance minutes.

A handful of RFD users were able to get the Telus ‘winback’ offer by calling 1-866-448-8030, while some had no luck at all. You need to mention you are an existing Freedom Mobile or Shaw Mobile customer.

The Telus $45/25GB plan was offered not just to customers in B.C. and Alberta, but others in Ontario were also able to get the plan, even one former customer that had switched to Zoomer five years ago.

If you were recently a Telus customer and you have the time and patience to pick up the phone, it may be worth trying to nab this $45/25GB BYOD plan.
