As part of iPadOS 15, Apple will now allow for Safari extensions to be installed, just like on your Mac. Safari web extensions can be installed from the App Store, says Apple.

Canada’s AgileBits, the developers behind 1Password, are always quick to demo the latest Apple features with its password manager.

1Password’s Andrew Beyer, the app’s Browser Experience Lead, shared a short screen recording on Monday, showing the new Safari extension running on an iPad. It looks just like 1Password does on a Mac and should bring for a much faster experience, especially when it comes to saving new logins and filling in credit cards online.

Currently, developers can download iPadOS 15 now, but a Public beta build is set to release in July, while the final downloads for the masses will come this fall.
