Evasi0n Can Jailbreak iOS 6.1.1, iPhone 4S Update Coming

Earlier today Apple released iOS 6.1.1 for iPhone 4S users to address 3G performance issues. For jailbroken iPhone 4S users, @planetbeing from the evad3rs jailbreak team has noted “the JB still works fine” and an update to evasi0n will be released soon to recognize the iPhone 4S on iOS 6.1.1:

It appears Apple has not closed the exploits within iOS 6.1.1, which was revealed when iOS 6.1.1 beta was released.

The evad3rs have consistently released updates as just a couple days ago evasi0n 1.2 was released. So if you’re on the iPhone 4S on iOS 6.1.1, an update to evasi0n is coming.

What would be the best way to proceed in order to keep all the cydia tweaks and configurations I spent hours doing last night ? is there a way I can save all of this in one “package” , restore with 6.1.1, re-jailbreak and then do a “one shot” install of my cydia tweaks and configurations? please tell me there is a way 🙂

Use XBackup, via Cydia. It saved and installed all my Cydia tweaks, after restoring to 6.1.1.

You can also use PKGBackup. Both XBackup and PKGBackup support iOS 6.

@pod2g said they aren’t working on one. They will wait until iOS 7
