Apple Pencil 2 to Feature Simpler Design, Gesture Support and More
According to leaker Benjamin Geskin, who has a decent track record of providing correct information on Apple’s product development plans obtained mostly from Chinese social networks, the Apple Pencil 2 will feature a minimalist new design, support tap and swipe gestures, and will introduce a new charging method (via MacRumors).
Gaskin took to Twitter earlier today and shared the latest rumours regarding the second generation Apple Pencil. He added that Apple Pencil 2 will feature a more streamlined design than the current model. “The silver rail on top is now gone”, he tweeted. Furthermore, he that Apple Pencil 2 will be magnetically attachable to the new iPad.

While Gaskin noted that the second-gen Apple Pencil will feature a new charging method, he did not give out any details on what that charging method would be.
Apple is expected to unveil the Apple Pencil 2 at tomorrow’s NYC event alongside the new iPad Pro models.
