Earlier this week, Apple notified the first pre-orders of its new M1 iPad Pro had moved to the ‘preparing to ship’ stage, meaning final shipped status was imminent.
On Thursday, Apple let customers know the first pre-orders had indeed shipped, and are now set to arrive on the device’s launch day, Friday, May 21, 2021.
Previously, Apple had given a delivery estimate of June 3, but again, the company has underpromised and over-delivered.
Yesterday, Bloomberg reported Apple is facing a delay on its priciest iPad Pro, the 12.9-inch model with new MiniLED display, as suppliers are unable to produce mass quantities to meet demand.
This morning, Apple also informed customers Apple TV 4K orders with the new Siri Remote have shipped and are set for arrival on Friday as well.
