KGI: Apple Watch to Begin Shipping in March, 12-inch MacBook Air in Q1 2015

According to a new report by Securities analyst Ming Chi Kuo, Apple will reportedly begin shipping the Apple Watch in March and the 12-inch MacBook Air within the first quarter of this year.

In the report, Kuo notes that the company will reveal more details about the Apple Watch before launch, including specific details on battery life. The analyst predicts that Apple will ship 2.8 million watches in the first quarter of 2015.

Apple is scheduled to release the Apple Watch in the United States in March 2015 with a starting price tag of $349. The device will come in three models, including a standard model, sports model, and a luxury 18-karat gold Watch Edition.

Kuo has estimated that the company is aiming for a Q1 2015 launch of the new 12-inch MacBook Air. The analyst’s estimates falls in line with several other reports released over the past month. The 12-inch MacBook Air will reported feature a new ultra-thin design, Retina display, Intel’s latest mobile Core M processor, and the new reversible USB Type C connector.

The analyst also predicted Apple will ship 61 million iPhones and 10 million iPads during Q1 2015.
