The Apple online store is currently down ahead of tonight’s iPhone 5c pre-orders. Unlocked iPhone 5c units will start at $599 for the 16GB model and $719 for the 32GB model.
Canadian unlocked iPhone 5c prices are more expensive compared to the USA, where prices are $549 and $649 respectively. That means Canadians are paying a $50 premium (what’s new?).

For those that are pre-ordering an iPhone 5c tonight, the fastest way to place your order will be the Apple Store iOS app instead of on the web most likely.
As for Rogers and Fido iPhone 5c pre-orders, the company confirmed earlier they would take place through their online Reservation System, starting between 6:30AM EDT – 7:30AM EDT (3:30AM PDT – 4:30AM PDT) on September 13.
As for the iPhone 5s, unlocked sales will be taking place at Apple Stores on September 20, as we exclusively reported this evening.
