Alleged iPhone 6 Case Shows Relocated Power Button and Rectangular Volume Controls
After some blurry photos and the first metal iPhone 6 mock-ups and cases, here is the first clear image allegedly showing an iPhone 6 case, as spotted by French site Nowhereelse.
This time, however, we have no details of its measurements; the site only notes that it comes from a Chinese accessory maker and that the case is designed for the iPhone 6. As you can see on the above image, it features slightly rounded edges, and what’s notable is the new drill hole in the upper-right of the case.
Earlier this month, KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo mentioned that Apple might relocate the power button, and as far as we can see, this has to be it. Also, we can see rectangular volume control buttons, which is in line with what we have seen so far with the first iPhone 6 case and schematics leak.
As you may have already heard, the next-generation iPhone is rumoured to be arriving in two sizes: 4.7 inches and 5.5 inches. Some voices claimed the existence of a 5.7-inch model, and the schematics seem to corroborate that, but the size is questionable. Fact is, there are whispers about a delayed launch of the 5.5-inch version.
