Mobilicity Promo: Unlimited Data, Talk and Text for $25 ‘For Life’ at These Stores

If you’re in the Greater Toronto Area, Mobilicity wants you to jump on board as a new round of flyers are targeting residents with a unique promo.

Until June 25 to June 30, Mobilicity is offering Unlimited Data + Talk + Text for $25/month, ‘for life’ it proclaims, for new activations. The deal is only available at seven locations (four in Mississauga; three in Toronto). This plan normally is $45 per month and was recently available for $30.

Mobilicity touts a free SIM card, no activation fees, no contracts and no credit check required. If you don’t travel often out of your home calling area, this $25/month offer might appeal to you. There’s also a ZTE dumbphone available for $19.99, which might be a cheap emergency phone for the kiddies (although they will be ridiculed).

Those with an unlocked AWS iPhone 5, iPhone 5s or iPhone 5c will be able to use Mobilicity’s network (click here to find out if your iPhone 5 is compatible).

Of course, there are caveats with this deal. Mobilicity’s future is up in the air as the company is under creditor protection and there’s no telling when it could run out of cash and go under. Telus has already unsuccessfully tried to acquire the carrier three times, due to Ottawa blocking the deal.

However, if you need a cheap cellphone plan and you have good reception in your area, this deal might be a no-brainer. Let us know if you’re going to jump on this!
