TELUS Dealer Reveals iPhone 6 Corporate Employee Pricing on Contract [u]

Looks like some dealers have already started to list iPhone 6 pricing on two-year contracts for corporate employees. The following prices were sent in via an anonymous iPhoneinCanada.ca tipster, which details new activation and upgrade prices for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

Smart Cell Communications is an authorized TELUS dealer and they list the following prices for new iPhone 6 contracts and upgrades:

iPhone 6

  • 16GB – $230
  • 64GB – $330
  • 128GB – $450

iPhone 6 Plus

  • 16GB – $330
  • 64GB – $440
  • 128GB – $550

Iphone 6 iphone 6 plus pricing

Of course, these prices are important as they provide us with a ballpark figure on what 2-year contract iPhone 6 pricing will be. Looks like our iPhone 6 contract price predictions weren’t that far off or could be fairly close to the regular numbers.

We’ll find out official pricing on Friday, the day when Rogers, Fido, Telus and Bell launch iPhone 6 pre-orders.

Update: Unconfirmed contract pricing on Bell (thanks Adrian):

$259 for 16gb 6
$369 for 64gb 6
$479 for 128gb 6

$369 for 16gb 6+
$479 for 64gb 6+
$589 for 128gb 6+

369$ for the iphone 6 with 64GB is not that bad but I’ll just wait a few months for the price to drop.

I’m fairly certain that the Bell pricing is legit as I saw the Telus pricing discussed in this article yesterday from a similar source

Ugh I wish they’d give us pricing earlier rather than later! I want to preorder but due to privacy concerns I only use preloaded credit cards. What’s the chance Telus will be allowing it to be added to my bill if they don’t give us the amount ahead of time? I currently have a 4s so I want this badly lol

If you’re upgrading I believe they are always added to your next bill. This is how it is out here in Ontario.

Ok so I went to my local Telus store and they said they didn’t know, and when I phoned, initially the rep didn’t even know preorders started tomorrow, but she did say it would be credit card only. I’m getting frustrated.

If people can pay $400+ for a 128 GB phone, why not just save another $500 and buy the phone outright?

What I’m not clear on Gary is whether or not the big three is forcing people to change their phone plans or not. Is it JUST for new customers that they are doing that? Or is it for current customers as well? Can you still sign a contract without touching your phone plan?

From my understanding if you want an iPhone 6 subsidy you’re going to have to meet the minimum plan requirements. If you want your plan to stay the same, you might be better off going unlocked

Rogers requires a minimum $80 plan before add ons to be eligible for an iPhone 6 subsidy

Awesome, thanks. I sure as hell won’t be buying a subsidized phone, only unlocked for me! But I am of course supposed to be the tech guru for all my friends and family so I need to know this crap, lol. Can’t wait for next week!

I ordered a 5s through Smartcell last year at launch. It took them 2 months to ship it. Let’s see if they do better with the 6.
