Freedom Mobile Promo: Pixel 8 with $45/50GB Can-US-Mex Plan
![]()
Freedom Mobile has a promo right now on last year’s Google Pixel 8, offering the device for $10 per month on financing over 24 months. But the deal here is it can be paired with a $45/month plan—that includes $10/month in credits.
The Pixel 8 retails for $949 from Freedom Mobile. But right now it includes $709 in MyTab savings, making the phone cost $240 after 24 months.
The minimum plan required for this promo is Freedom Mobile’s $35/month plan with 50GB that includes roaming in Canada, US and Mexico. The $35 plan includes a $5/month Digital Discount and $5/month credit for 18 months. That means for the last six months of your 24 month term, your plan cost will be $40/month.
So that works out to $10/month for the Pixel 8 and $35/month for your plan, or $45/month. That’s a pretty decent deal for a $0 upfront Pixel 8 that’s just one year old, plus a North American roaming plan. This price reminds us of the olden days when you could get a new phone with a plan for under $50 bucks per month.
Other telecoms are also offering a similar deal on the Pixel 8 right now and resellers like Best Buy, Costco, Wow Mobile and The Mobile Shop are offering bonus gift cards or points, available with Fido, Koodo and Virgin.
We’ll likely see the Pixel 8 drop down even further when Black Friday rolls around in November. Who’s holding out until then?
