Quebecor’s Freedom Mobile is offering up a ‘winback’ plan targeting recent customers that switched to another wireless carrier.
The latest winback offer received this week from Freedom Mobile is in the form of a $30/50GB North America plan (Canada-US-Mexico) for 18 months. This $30/month plan is after a $5 digital discount (pre-authorized credit card payments) and a $5/month promo credit for 18 months. The connection fee is also waived.
According to RFD, Freedom Mobile sent this winback offer via email, so you may want to check your spam folder if you haven’t seen anything. This particular customer ditched Freedom Mobile for Telus a few months ago. The offer says it expires on August 31, 2024.
The winback offer is through the form of a promo code, which can be redeemed online.
Currently, there’s a $40/75GB North America (and 10GB Roam Beyond) student deal from Freedom Mobile, available for eligible students. The company recently added North American roaming and 5G to all its plans, something Rogers, Telus and Bell have yet to match (and likely won’t it seems).
