Quebecor’s Freedom Mobile will launch iPhone 16 series pre-orders in Canada on Friday, September 13, 2024.
That’s according to the website’s main page, noting iPhone 16 series pre-orders will start at 5:01am PT/8:01am ET (just like Apple.ca but 1 minute later). The fine print says Apple Intelligence is coming December 2024, which is when Canada English will be officially supported.
Freedom Mobile asks customers to pre-register for the event, asking for your name, email and phone number and what products you’re interested in. We don’t know iPhone 16 series pricing yet, but based on what we know from iPhone 15 series devices, it will likely be the same since pricing didn’t increase from Apple this year.
For last year’s iPhone 15, you can get it for $15/month after TradeUp, on a $45/month plan with 75GB of data. This price includes a $5/month credit for 18 months. Of course this is a two year term.
