New Xbox Series X/S Consoles Now Available in Canada

Today, Microsoft is launching the collection of new Xbox Series X/S consoles, just before the holidays. The new consoles introduce additional colourways and storage options across the Xbox Series X/S portfolio.

Earlier this year, Microsoft revealed the new Digital Edition of the 1TB Xbox Series X in ‘Robot White,’ a special edition Xbox Series X with 2TB in ‘Galaxy Black,’ and the all-new 1TB Xbox Series S in ‘Robot White.’

Starting at $449 in Canada, players can pick up the 1TB Xbox Series S in Robot White. The company has been supporting a 1TB Xbox Series S in Carbon Black throughout the year. The new Robot White variant provides the same architecture and features as its predecessor. The all-digital console comes with 1TB of SSD storage for fast loading times alongside Velocity Architecture technology and Smart Delivery features. It also supports 1440p @ 60fps.

Looking over to the Xbox Series X, Microsoft is introducing a new Digital Edition of the 1TB Xbox Series X in ‘Robot White’ for $599. Maintaining the same build and storage allotment as the original Xbox Series X, the new model gets rid of the disc drive while also carrying over the Robot White colourway of the Series S. Being an all-digital console, the new model is cheaper than the $649 price tag of the original console. It also carries over the 4K @ 60fps capabilities and the current-gen features like Smart Delivery.

Finally, the Special Edition Galaxy Black Xbox Series X comes with 2TB of SSD storage for $799. This model does feature the disc drive of the original console and effectively doubles the storage capacity of the flagship console. It also features a starry design pattern, similar to the Limited Edition Halo Infinite console.

The latest three console models arrive ahead of what’s an impactful holiday season for Microsoft. In a few short weeks, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 arrives on consoles and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on October 25th. Then, on December 9th, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle arrives on Xbox.
