Apple Accidentally Reveals M4 Max, Expected for MacBook Pro
Looks like Apple has accidentally leaked the M4 Max is coming soon, likely for the MacBook Pro.
Developer Charlie Joseph spotted the leak (via Mark Gurman) saying, “Yippee! Looks like the M4 Max MacBook Pros will drop tomorrow I’m assuming? 😆”.
“Given that the “M4 Max” image assets now exist on Apples website (that prior, didn’t when I last checked),” said Joseph.
The URL for the leaked image is here, and it shows the Apple domain. Nicely done, Apple (someone is going to disappear by the end of the day).
Apple said it would have three Mac announcements this week, and so far we’ve seen two of them. The M4 iMac on Monday, the M4/M4 Pro Mac mini today and tomorrow will likely be the MacBook Pro with M4.
Currently, the M3 Max is available for both the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro, starting from $4349 in Canada, for the M3 Max with a 14-core CPU and 30-core GPU, with 36GB RAM and 1TB SSD. Expect Apple to refresh this line up tomorrow with similar upgrades we saw today for the Mac mini, but at a higher spec for pro users with huge wallets.
