iHeartRadio Canada just launched Bryan Adams radio, a 24/7 streaming channel hosted by Bryan Adams himself.
The timing comes on Adams’ 65th birthday but also the 40th anniversary of his hit album Reckless. Fans tuning in can hear Adams share personal stories, play his favourite tracks, and talk about the music that’s influenced his career.
Bell Media says it will celebrate the occasion on CTV and Crave, with a special concert event, Reckless Live at Royal Albert Hall, on Saturday, Nov. 9, at 12 noon ET.
In this concert, Adams performs his entire Reckless album from 1984, recorded live at the famous Royal Albert Hall in London. This show is part of a new deluxe box set, Live at the Royal Albert Hall 2024, dropping on Nov. 15.
“Really excited to collaborate with iHeart on my own channel and radio show,” said Adams in a statement. “I’m going to be showcasing all kinds of great music in the coming shows, so tune in and rock out!”
Orbyt Media has also announced a new syndicated show, the Bryan Adams Radio Show, set to air weekly across North America starting January 2025. This three-hour show will feature exclusive interviews, stories, and special guests as Adams shares some of the best music from his own collection and beyond.
iHeartRadio Canada’s stations are available on the web, the iHeartRadio Canada app, and through smart speakers like Alexa and Google Home.
