Telus-owned Koodo is doling out free monthly data for select customers, in the form of a 25GB add-on.
How to find out if you have a free monthly data bonus? Many on RFD said they saw the automatic data bonus in their accounts.
How to check? Log into your Koodo account, head over to “My add-ons” and in the list, you should see “for 25GB Add-on” showing $0. Some didn’t get the full 25GB but saw 6GB. Your mileage may vary it seems.
The best part about this freebie is that it’s included automatically and no action is needed on your part, unlike some free data offers we’ve been seeing from Rogers and Fido.
Last month, Koodo was doling out 30GB in free data as well, and further back some said they got 50GB from the wireless carrier.
With Black Friday coming up later this month, having free data in your account looks to be a way for Koodo to stop customers from jumping ship to the next best deal.
