Rogers and Fido Slash iPhone 16 Prices in Major Discount
Rogers and Fido have slashed Apple’s iPhone 16 series pricing in what are super aggressive discounts ahead of this fall’s expected iPhone 17 series lineup.
Here’s what we’re seeing from Fido for the iPhone 16 series:
- iPhone 16 – $35.88/mo (after credit) (Save $300.00) | Full Price: $1,161.00
- iPhone 16 Pro – $49.59/mo (after credit) (Save $300.00) | Full Price: $1,490.00
- iPhone 16 Pro Max – $62.46/mo (after credit) (Save $300.00) | Full Price: $1,799.00
- iPhone 16 Plus – $42.30/mo (after credit) (Save $300.00) | Full Price: $1,315.00
Here are the iPhone 16 series prices from Rogers:
- iPhone 16 – $19.50/mo (after credit) (Save $307.00) | Full Price: $1,161.00
- iPhone 16 Pro – $24.50/mo (after credit) (Save $300.00) | Full Price: $1,490.00
- iPhone 16 Pro Max – $29.50/mo (after credit) (Save $300.00) | Full Price: $1,799.00
- iPhone 16 Plus – $22.50/mo (after credit) (Save $300.00) | Full Price: $1,315.00
Rogers also has certified pre-owned iPhone 16 series devices that are even cheaper. These are essentially customer returns. If you trade in your old device you can save even more:
- iPhone 16 Pro Max – $43.60/mo (after credit) (Save $48.60) | Full Price: $1,166.20
- iPhone 16 Pro – $40.25/mo | Full Price: $966.00
- iPhone 16 – $32.00/mo | Full Price: $768.00
- iPhone 16 Plus – $36.00/mo | Full Price: $864.00
What you can do is purchase a certified pre-owned device outright, subscribe to the cheapest talk and text plan, then cancel and keep your iPhone 16 model you’ve paid full price for. This is much cheaper than what you’d pay from Apple.ca right now. You won’t have to pay the new higher $75 connection fee for shopping online, but you will get charged $25 for shipping.
Let us know if you’re going to jump on this year’s iPhone 16 series. We know some bigger changes are coming with iPhone 17, but with the lower Canadian dollar, we think prices are going to increase this year (like we saw with Apple’s exchange rate used for iPhone 16e).

Apple is struggling to sell a device that became outdated about five years ago for a crazy amount of money. 🙂
Pulled the trigger on a preowned 16 Pro. Only $90 more than the 16e I have on order. Also cheaper than the preowned 15 Pro for some reason?
You got yourself a great deal versus the iPhone 16e!
The cheapest plan is of $65 damn
