Fido, Virgin Plus, and Koodo Go Head-to-Head with 60GB Plans

The flanker brands of Rogers, Telus and Bell continue to tweak monthly plans, as prices and data amounts continue to fluctuate after just a matter of days.

Earlier this week we told you Fido changed its plan pricing, but now it has reversed course on its 60GB plan, bringing it back at $39 per month. But this price of course ends on April 14.

Her are Fido’s plans as of Friday evening:

• $37.50/20GB
• $39/60GB (was $44) Ends April 14
• $54/80GB

As for Virgin Plus, all plans now include international long distance minutes now (US, Bangladesh, China, Hong Kong, India, Mexico, and United Kingdom). The $39 plan previously had 20GB, but now it has 60GB. There’s also a new $44/60GB plan that is the same as the $39 plan:

• $39/60GB (was 20GB)
• $44/60GB (new)
• $55/80GB
• $25 talk and text; $19/250MB and $39/3GB plans with 3G data

Koodo prices now reflect a $10/month autopay discount, that only supports debit and no longer credit card preauthorizations:

• $25 pay-per-use data
• $39/60GB (there’s an unlimited long distance perk)
• $54/80GB

No major changes from Koodo’s plans, yet.

For now, the only plan that doesn’t match is the $55/80GB plan from Virgin, as it’s $1 more expensive than its rivals. Expect that to update sometime soon, of course.
