Evasi0n 1.3 Download Released to Support iOS 6.1.1 on the iPhone 4S

The Evad3rs jailbreak team has released an updated version of their jailbreak tool to support the iPhone 4S running iOS 6.1.1, released earlier today by Apple. Evasi0n 1.3 is now available for download and doesn’t contain any other bug fixes or changes according to the change log, other than support for iOS 6.1.1 on the iPhone 4S:
Version 1.3
~~~~~~~~~~~
– Support for 6.1.1 on the iPhone 4S.
The team hinted earlier today an update was coming and it has arrived as promised. Evasi0n 1.2 was just released a couple days ago. Let us know how this new version works for you, iPhone 4S users.
evasi0n 1.3 should now correctly support OSX 10.5 and we also lowered the linux glibc requirement to 2.3 — http://t.co/WwRp7oWz
People who are already jailbroken will get #evasi0n updates via #Cydia as usual.
For people with 4S wanting to update to 6.1.1: make a backup and properly restore your device in iTunes. Do NOT make an OTA update.
Just tried to update via iTunes and it failed – put the iPhone in recovery mode.. So i guess if it’s already been jailbroken it has to be a restore, not an update.. So plan on a lot of time (depending on your amount of apps and music/videos) to do this.
