Tomorrow marks the 146th birthday of Canada and throughout our great nation various festivities will be underway to mark this momentous occasion. Below are some apps to help you celebrate Canada Day and other Canadian-made apps to check out.

Want to brush up on your history? The app ‘1812’ by the Government of Canada was released last year to celebrate the bicentennial of the War of 1812.

Don’t forget Apple has a new dedicated Canada Day section for apps, songs and books that are ‘Made in Canada’ which you can also check out. This is on top of the existing Great Canadian Apps section.

For travellers and shoppers how about mentioning Simply Declare Travel App. One of the best travel apps for all Canadians who love to travel and hate having to deal with customs. This is one of my go to favourite travel apps.
