Apple.ca Refurbs: October 2014 Mac mini Back in Stock for $469
Back in October Apple refreshed the Mac mini with faster processors and graphics, 802.11ac Wi-Fi and two Thunderbolt 2 ports. These models first hit the refurbished store in late December and now the entry model is back in stock as of this morning, starting at $469. There’s also an upgraded model available for $919.
The base $469 model is $80 cheaper versus buying new, at a discount of 14% off. It comes with 4GB of RAM and a 500GB hard drive. As unearthed by the iFixit teardown, the RAM is unfortunately soldered to the logic board and not replaceable. Still though, if you’re looking for a worthy HTPC, the Mac mini is a popular and capable machine.
Stocks are usually limited so jump on this if you don’t want to wait for the next round. Refurbs come with a full one year warranty.
Also, the 27-inch Retina Display iMac is also available in the refurbished store too, if you’re looking for one, as it became available late last evening.
