Apple Drops Official Trailer for ‘The Morning Show’ Season 2 [VIDEO]

Apple today released the official trailer for season 2 of the celebrated Apple TV+ original The Morning Show, which stars the likes of Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Steve Carell, and more.

After being suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic, filming on the second season resumed in October of last year. The 10-episode sequel is scheduled to start airing September 17, with new episodes every Friday.

Here’s Apple’s summary for season 2 of the show:

Picking up after the explosive events of season one, season two finds “The Morning Show” team emerging from the wreckage of Alex (Aniston) and Bradley’s (Witherspoon) actions, to a new UBA and a world in flux, where identity is everything and the chasm between who we present as and who we really are comes into play.

The Morning Show is one of Apple TV+’s prized originals, bagging the streaming service eight Primetime Emmy Awards this past awards season.

In addition, Billy Crudup has claimed an Emmy, and Jennifer Aniston has won a SAG Award as well as an Emmy for their respective roles in the series.

Joining the star-studded cast of The Morning Show for season 2 is two-time Peabody award winner Hasan Minhaj. From the trailer, it looks like Will Arnett will also be making an appearance.
