Freedom Mobile Reopens 14 Retail Stores for Customers in ‘Emergency Situations’

Shaw announced earlier this week it was closing down all Freedom Mobile stores due to COVID-19, but now it says it will reopen 14 corporate locations to help customers in ‘emergency situations.’

“We’ve reopened 14 Freedom Mobile corporate retail stores to assist customers who need to access retail locations in emergency situations in order to stay connected,” announced the company, with these street front stores to see limited hours while following social distancing guidelines.

Freedom Mobile says customers should call stores to confirm hours of operation and availability.

While 14 corporate locations have reopened today, Freedom Mobile says a select number of dealer and national retailer locations are still open for customers. The list is below:

  • 17th Avenue
  • Crowfoot Crossing
