With Apple announcing it is set to hold a special event on September 10, 2019, all eyes are on the company again to see what exactly will be coming for the iPhone 11.

As for the iPhone 11 release date, one tipster informs MacRumors it may take place on September 13 for pre-orders, along with availability on September 20, 2019:

A tipster who claims to work at a major carrier has since provided MacRumors with internal communication that suggests the rumored iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro models will be available to pre-order Friday, September 13 ahead of deliveries to customers and in-store availability starting Friday, September 20.

Last year, Apple held its iPhone XS special event on Wednesday, September 12 and launched pre-orders two days later on Friday, September 14. As for the availability date for iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, that was one week later on September 21.

Apple’s iPhone launch timeline last year was the same for the U.S. and Canada, so Canadians should again expect another similar timeframe.

With Apple set to hold their special event this year on Tuesday, September 10, it would again be natural to have pre-orders launch on Friday, September 13, and then availability again one week later on September 20, 2019.

Apple is expected to announce successors to last year’s iPhone line up, with a similar design and clockwork upgrades such as faster processors, rumoured extra cameras to the rear and wireless power-sharing and maybe new colours.

Regardless of Apple’s iPhone 11 release date timeline, you’ll need to get your wallets ready, because rumours claim naming may include “pro”, and if that’s true, you may have to pay more for the latest iPhone.
