Fido, Koodo and Virgin Plus Plans are Aligning Again
The flanker brands of Rogers, Telus and Bell—Fido, Koodo and Virgin Plus—have started to align their wireless plans again.
Fido, Koodo and Virgin Plus all have the same $34/20GB plan for bring your own device, along with $39/40GB and $44/50GB plans.
The differences lie in Fido offering a $54/60GB plan and Virgin Plus offering a $65/75GB.
When it comes to starter plans, Fido and Koodo are identical with $15/250MB (3G) and $35/3GB plans. Virgin Plus charges $19/250MB.
Nothing really new here to see, folks. These plans will always keep changing and typically end up around this same prices and data. The best time for a deal is during Black Friday and Boxing Day.
Last March, Virgin Plus dropped its data overages from $153/1GB down to $20/1GB. Koodo’s overages remain at $130/1GB, while Fido charges $15/1GB.
Better plans are available from Quebecor’s Freedom Mobile, as their starter 5G plans are at $34/50GB and include talk, text and data for use in Canada and the U.S. The same plan is available from Telus’ Public Mobile as well.

Recently they all had 20gb at 29$ and Fido was giving 50 Gb bonus for 24 months. The plan prices are going back higher and the companeis are talking to each other to align their plan and kill competition.
public mobile guys $34/50GB 5G can’t be beat. They even have $29/40GB 4G which is amazing.
