No reason to upgrade to iPad mini 3 from 2. Beside the touch ID? No thanks.

…and GOLD! and $20 more compared to last year’s price of $419. Blame the exchange rate.

There is no logical reason to pay more than 100$ to get the 3 instead of the 2. Os Touch ID and a gold color option really worth that 100$? Not even faster… They should’ve call it iPad Mini 2S like another user said.

With iPhone 6 Plus, it really kicked the iPad mini in the pants. The upgrade is definitely not worth it since nothing has changed. How often do people unlock their tablets versus their smartphones? Paying over $100 for touch ID and gold is definitely a premium.
